Pooler's fast-growing subdivisions sit on slab foundations with vented attics that bake through Georgia's long cooling season, and that's where most of your summer energy bill goes. Savannah Spray Foam Insulation has been sealing and insulating homes across the Savannah area since 2010, and we know exactly what Pooler's construction looks like and what it needs.
When a room over the garage won't cool down, when your attic hits 140 degrees in July, or when you spot condensation and damp insulation in the crawl space, that's when Pooler homeowners call us. We're fully insured, we work in occupied homes, and we leave your property clean.
Spray Foam Insulation in Pooler (31322)
Pooler's newer subdivisions are built on slab-on-grade foundations with stick-framed walls and vented attics that carry the ductwork. That design works fine in a dry climate, but here in the Lowcountry, vented attics pull in hot, humid coastal air all summer long. The result is an attic that becomes a radiant oven, condensation that collects on the underside of the roof decking, and ductwork that has to work twice as hard to cool the house. Closed cell spray foam seals that attic tight, stops the moisture infiltration, and drops the temperature by 20 to 30 degrees on a hot day.
Older homes in and around Pooler often have raised crawl spaces with vented foundation walls, rim and band joists that are never insulated, and wall cavities that are either empty or filled with soggy fiberglass. We spray closed cell foam into those rim joists, seal the band boards, and inject foam into the walls to stop the air leakage and the moisture that drives inward through the foundation.
We've been doing this work since 2010. We know Pooler's building stock, the humidity profile in Chatham County, and what happens when you seal an attic or a crawl space the right way. We show up on time, we explain what we're doing, and we stand behind the work.

How a Job Works in Pooler
We start with a free on-site assessment. You show us the space, tell us what's uncomfortable or what you've noticed (a hot room, condensation, an energy bill that's too high), and we walk the attic, crawl space, or wall cavities with you. We look at what's there now, check for moisture or contamination that has to be dealt with first, and measure the area we're going to cover. Then we write up a detailed estimate with the R-value and thickness we're specifying, the type of foam (open or closed cell), and a firm price for the work.
On the day of the job, our fully insured crew arrives with the spray rig and the equipment. We lay down drop cloths, seal off the work area with plastic sheeting, and run mechanical ventilation during the spray and cure. If there's old insulation that has to come out first, we remove it, haul it away, and clean the substrate before we spray. The foam cures in place, and we do a final walkthrough with you to make sure the coverage is complete and even.
If you're home during the work, we'll let you know the re-entry window. Most jobs need 24 to 48 hours for the foam to cure fully before you move back into the space. We clean up thoroughly and leave your property the way we found it.
Attic spray foam in Pooler typically runs from $1.50 per square foot for open cell to $1.20 per board foot for closed cell, depending on the thickness and R-value your attic needs. A 1,500-square-foot attic with 6 inches of closed cell foam usually falls in the $3,500 to $5,500 range. Crawl space foam starts around $2,500 for a small space and scales with the square footage and the depth of coverage. Rim and band joist sealing starts at $650. Wall injection foam for a closed cavity runs around $2 per square foot. If you have old, wet, or contaminated insulation that has to come out first, add $950 to $2,000 depending on the volume. The exact price depends on the area to cover, the R-value and thickness you need, whether it's open or closed cell, and what has to be removed or repaired before we spray.
